Founding Product Engineer
The role
We're building our own in-house operating platform — the software that runs our studios and serves our clients — and we're looking for a founding engineer to lead the build. You'll own the core product end to end, working directly with our CTO, with an outsized say in how MOVE's technology is designed for years to come.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and run our core operating platform — and lead the shift of our systems fully in-house.
- Own reliability across 20+ studios: deployment, monitoring, keeping everything running.
- Turn real operational needs into shipped, well-crafted features.
- Set the engineering standards — code quality, testing, release process — as the team grows around you.
- Work hands-on with modern AI tooling to move fast without cutting corners.
What we're looking for
- A strong full-stack engineer who has shipped and operated production web apps end to end.
- Comfortable owning reliability — not just writing features, but keeping them running.
- Experience migrating or rebuilding a live system without losing data or breaking users.
- Pragmatism about build vs. buy, and a bias for shipping in phases.
- Genuine comfort working alongside AI tooling (we use Claude Code heavily).
Nice to have
- Experience building customer-relationship management (CRM), sales-pipeline, or marketing-automation systems.
- Multi-country or multi-currency product experience.
- A founding-engineer or early-stage background.
Your first 90 days
- Get to grips with the current stack (our in-house systems and what GoHighLevel does today) and how data flows between them.
- Publish a phased plan to move off GoHighLevel and consolidate our customer data, with the CTO and clear data-continuity checkpoints.
- Ship one meaningful improvement or migration milestone to production.
Engagement & terms

| Growth increment | +RM 250 / month for every new MOVE branch that opens (capped at RM 15,000) |
